January 9, 1926 WINNETKA TALK 35 SYMPHONY PLAYERS GIVE CONCERT TUESDAY Fourth of Orchestral Association Programs to Comprise Inter- esting Features The concert of the Symphony Play ers of Chicago to be given on Tuesday evening, January 12, promises to be unusually enjoyable, offering, as it does, numbers by such popular com- posers as Tschaikowsky, Moskowski, and Wolf-Ferrari. The entire program including a symphony, an intermezzo, and a set of Spanish dances, will be furnished by the orchestra. It is urged that those who have tickets to spare | for this concert communicate with | Mrs. Homer Cotton at the high school, that she may pass the tickets on to high school students. Tuesday's concert will be the fourth of the current session. The concerts are sponsored by the New Trier Or- chestral association. Miss Day and Mr. Peirce have many | friends along the north shore. The bride-elect graduated from Vassar, and the latter was a member of the class of 1917 of Illinois. The Days are staying at the Ambas- sador hotel this winter, having, sold their home in Winnetka, but it is ex- | pected that they will return to Win- netka in the spring. VISIT WINNETKA Mr. and Mrs. Malcolm Fleming and their four children, formerly of Win- netka and now of Cincinnati, who have been the guests of Mrs. Fleming's mother, Mrs. W. H. Allport of 699 Walden road, for the past fortnight, | have returned to their home in Ohio. Many social affairs were given in their honor during their brief holiday visit here.
