T46-2tc New Trier Students to Form Board of Health In line with her active work in health matters, which won for her a tie in the national contest to determine the best health programs carried on by high schools, New Trier High school is now to have a student board of health, it was announced this week. The board is being formed under the direction of Mrs. Marion Simmonson, in charge of health work at the school, and will con- sist of eight students, two from each class. This board in conjunction with the Service club, will instruct students in health habits. Many plans for mak- ing the work of the board more effec- tive are being discussed, among them prize essay contests on health sub- jects. New Dance Place Proves Popular With Local Fans Bob's Dance Land, Evanston's new- est dance emporium, is proving quite popular with the dance fans of the north shore. It is located at 737 Main street, and dances are held every Thursday and Saturday evening, from 8 until 12 o'clock. Vernon Curry's "Red Hot Orchestra" furnished the music and there is 8360 square feet of dance floor surface, it is explained. The manager is Robert Booth, of Ev- anston. Knights of Columbus to Hear Talk on Evolution "Evolution in its Relation to Chris- tianity," will be the subject of a lecture to be given by the Rev. F. J. Seiden- berg, professor of sociology and law at Loyola university at an open meeting of Ouilmette Council, Knights of Co- lumbus, to be held at the Wilmette Woman's club, Monday evening, Feb- ruary 15. The meeting, which is open to the general public, will also include a pro- gram of music. North Western Railroad Organizes Concert Band Recognizing the universal appeal for band music, the Chicago and North Western railway has recently organized a band of some forty pieces which will become a permanent part of its so- cial activities. It is composel of cm- ploves from the various departments and has been completely equipped and uniformed. . BUILDERS HOLD INSTALLATION The New Trier Chapter No. 94, Order of the Builders, will hold a public installation and dance at the Winnetka Masonic temple, Monday evening, February 1, beginning at 8 o'clock.
