February 6, 1926 WINNETKA TALK 27 What It Means to Be A Minister--Sermon The Rev. James A. Richard's subject at the Winnetka Congregational church this Sunday morning will be: "The Divine Increase." He takes this subject in response to a request from the Chicago Theological Seminary which has at this particular time asked many ministers to speak on the sub- ject of the ministry. Mr. Richards is skeptical about the repeated state- ments that there is a shortage of min isters, but does believe that the call- ing is not being given fair considera- tion by such communiites as Win- netka, and, therefore, wants to tell quite simply and directly something of what it means to be a Christian minister. The music for morning worship is as follows: Violin and organ prelude--Mrs. Va- lona Brewer and Raymond Allyn Smith. Anthem--""How Lovely Are Thy Messengers" (St. Paul)--Mendelssohn. Offertory anthem--*"I am Alpha and Omega" Stainer. String Quartet Gives Next Program at Club The music department of the Win- netka Woman's club, Mrs. Everett L.
