Wilmette, Ill, Telephone 4 1273-P North Shore Drops Only One Game in Cage Series The North Shore Country Day school basketball teams met only one de- feat in its last series of games, that one being Monday in which Skokie's lightweight team of seventh and eighth grade girls, defeated their opponents from North Shore, 7 to 6. On March 3, the Girls' second team from North Shore defeated Marywood, 48 to 22, and on March 6 the same team from North Shore defeated Chicago Latin 44 to 32. The first team from the North Shore Girls' defeated the Chi- cago Latin first team 34 to 26. On Fri- day of last week the Boys' first team from North Shore defeated their oppo. nents from Francis Parker school, to 11 while the North Shore 3 weight team was playing a closer rub with the Francis Parker lightweights whom they defeated 12 to 11. On Mon- day, the North Shore Boys' light- weights defeated Skokie, 14 to 2. Mr. and Mrs. John Stuart, 990 Sher- idan road, left last week for a fort- night's sojourn at Pinehurst, N. C. Miss Joan Stuart preceded her parents by a week, and Miss Ellen Stuart, their other daughter, who is attending Fram- ington, will join her family in Win- netka for her Easter vacation.
