Mrs. Edwin W. Rosenheim | presented a paper on "The Treatment of Misdirected Imagination in Chil- dren." The mothers of the fifth grade met Monday afternoon to discuss the "Reading Interests of Children." Mrs. Ralph Renwick read a paper on "Reading," recommending books .suit- able for boys and girls of fifth grade reading ability. Nearly 400 tickets were sold for the lecture .which was given for the bene- fit of the kindergarten of the Henry 3Jooth House. As Mr. Bridges, wno is president of Booth House, gave his talk without charge, and as the ex- penses of the hall were donated, the entire proceeds will be given to the kindergarten, which, because of the success of the venture, can be kept open throughout the summer months. Perry Dunlap Smith, head of the North Shore Country Day school, in- troduced Mr. Bridges, who delighted his hearers. Mrs. Henrietta Kultcher, who was a resident of Winnetka for many years, and whose son married Mrs. Rosewell Mason's sister, and whose daughter. is Mrs. Paul Starr, is head resident of 3ooth House, which furthers the work of Americanization of foreign born children and children of foreign born. The Winnetka committee responsi- ble for the success of the affair was composed of Mrs. Francis Lackner, chairman, and Mrs. Walter L. Ben- son, Mrs. L. H. A. Bouscaren, Mrs. Rush Butler, Mrs. Frank T. Crawford, Mrs. George C. Calkins, Mrs. Arthur W. Cushman, Mrs. Victor Elting, Mrs. George E.
