M. Peterson of Winnetka last week arrested three men who had stolen furnishings valued at more than $1,000 from the Locust Inn, a roadhouse on the outskirts of Wil- mette. The men are Anton Angier, of Mor- ton Grove, Rocco Delcastro, 1629 West Huron street, Chicago, and Ralph Brajd, of 1456 West Eighteenth street, Chicago. The men were captured af- ter they had taken part in another burglary near Winnetka. Chief Peter- son arrested them when they attempt- ed to dispose of some stolen goods in the village. The trio was turned over to the County highway police, and are now awaiting trial on charges of burglary. They told the police that they had in- tended to return for an electric piano, which they found at the Locust Inn. The roadhouse is closed during the winter. Mrs. Thomas Dennehy, Sr. of Tower road and Mrs. Thomas Dennehy, Jr. are spending six weeks in California. They expect to be gone for Easter week. -- Mrs. John Black of 1174 Tower road, who is in the Henrotin hospital, is now convalescent, and will return to her home next week. --p---- Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Simpson of 725 Walden road have sold their home and will move April 1. w-- Mr. and Mrs. Luthur Barber and their children have returned to their home at 1238 Scott avenue, after a stay of a little more than three weeks in Biloxi, Miss. Open Spring Term of Play-Writing Course Next Week The spring term of the Play-writing course at Evanston will begin Tuesday, March 23, and classes will meet weekly from 10 to 12 at the Evanston library hall. It will continue for ten weeks, in- cluding each week a brief opening lec- ture by Director Hinckley on the ele- ments of dramatic construction and fol- lowed by. class play-reading and criti- cism. The class, which has a large membership in this community desires to impress the item that those enrolled for the course need not have a writing gift--that a great amount of benefit may be obtained from the criticism and interpretation and as much fun come out of the sessions. The work of the Playshop will be re- sumed Thursday morning. Plays writ- ten in the class will be staged on those mornings at the School of Speech, Northwestern under direction of Alex- ander Dean and Eugene Frost. EXCHANGE PROPERTIES Pierre G.
