Univ. 8507 'MacDowell Society to Have Booth at Woman's Exhibit A meeting of the North Shore Mac- Dowell society was held the evening of March 24, at the Kenilworth Assembly hall. Mr. Ambler president, presiding. Miss Helen Sears, who was hostess of the evening, spoke a few words con- cerning the booth which the society is to have at the Woman's World's Fair to be held at the American Exposition Palace from April 17 to 24. The work of women artists and writers of the Colony is to be exhibited in this booth. There will be short talks on "The Plan and Scope of Peterborough." A splendid program was then pre- sented by Stella Roberts, violin; Ralph Horween, viola; and Lillian Rehberg, 'cello; Mrs. Dwight C. Orcutt, piano, who played the Mozart G minor piano quartette and the F flat Schumann quartette. Miss Roberts gave a charm- ing group of violin selections. Charles E. Lutton, baritone, sang two groups of songs, and Mrs. Orcutt was at the piano throughout the evening. The meeting closed with its usually delightful social hour. AGAIN AT HOME Mr. and Mrs. William Ayer Mec- Kinney and son, Montgomery Mec- Kinney, of 1200 Chatfield road, return- ed Monday, March 29, from Tuscon, Ariz. Mrs. McKinney who had been very ill for several weeks in a hospital in Tuscon, had a comfortable trip home and is regaining her health as rapidly as can be expected. Montgomery Mc- Kinney has been staying on a ranch in Arizona and has returned in splendid health. GIVE MONTHLY BRIDGE The regular monthly luncheon and bridge given by the North Shore branch of Gamma Phi Beta sorority was held at the home of Mrs. Hayes McKinney, 1035 Chestnut avenue, Wil- mette, Monday, March 29. The April meeting will be held at the home of Mrs. D. A. Peterson, 1014 Starr road, Winnetka, the fourth Monday of this month.
