Friendship Circle club dance, 8 p. m. "Iron Camp Fire Sparks The Spring Camp Fire Food Sale was held on April 10, at the Commun- ity House. It was very successful from every point of view. The pro- ceeds from the sale were $67.06, out of which a maximum of $5 expenses must come. The tables were unusual- ly for their co-operation, efficiency ranged, and the food was excellent, and of great variety. Eight groups took part in the sale, and the Judg- ing committee had the greatest dif- ficulty in deciding which table de- served the prize for the prettiest. The committee, composed of Mrs. Dudley French as chairman, Mrs. Albert Smith, Mrs. Austin Jenkins, finally gave the award to the Kimadsham group. Miss H. Childs, guardian, and honorable mention to the Wonssicket WINNETKA TALK 43 group, Miss A. Mac Intyre, guardian, and to the Wakantahi group, Mrs. George Eisebrand, guardian. The Toheha group, Mrs. R. D. Pierce, guardian, was given the first place for variety and quantity, the Untaluti group, Mrs. John Marshall, guardian, was second, and the Wakantahi group, Mrs. Eisenbrand, guardian, was third. Miss MaclIntyre's group. Miss Childs' group, Mrs. Eisenbrand's group, Mrs. Pierce's group, and Mrs.. Marshall's group were each 100 per cent in con- tribution. The Pricing committee con- sisted of Mrs. David Kennicott, chair- man Mrs. J. W. F. Davies, Mrs. Ar- thur Cushman, and Mrs. John R. Montgomery. The cashiers were Mrs. E. A. Anderson, Mrs. Arthur Ster- rett. The Council members who helped in this sale are thanked great- ly for their co-operation, efficiency and willingness.
