i Te May 1, 1926 WINNETKA TALK 15 VASSAR CLUB MEETS Annual Meeting and Closing Luncheon of Chicago Vassar Club Occurs To- day The annual meeting and closing luncheon of the 1925-6 season of the Chicago Vassar club will be an event of Saturday, May 1, at 12:30 o'clock, at the Casino club, 167 E. Delaware place. Mrs. Chauncey B. Borland, 2450 Lake View avenue, is in charge of luncheon arrangements. Following the luncheon, the annual election of officers will take place and the annual reports will be presented, with Mrs. Andrew MacLeish, Glencoe, the club president, in the chair. Mrs. Ellis K. Kerr, Evanston, chairman: of the nominating committee, will present the slate for 1926-27. Reports of the Vassar Tea room will be presented by Mrs. D. H. Burnham, Jr., Evanston, chairman, Mrs. Eugene P. Talbot, Jr., 62 E. Division street, secretary, and Miss Dorothy Clark, 417 Barry avenue, treasurer. The business session will precede an informal program to be given in ob- servance of Founder's day of Vassar college which is April 29, the birthday of Matthew Vassar, who was born in 1792. The program will open with a re- production of the first Founder's day celebration given April 29, 1866, two years before Mr. Vassar's death. The cast for the play is below. Smith, Jr., residence at 435 Sheridan road, Winnetka, it was an- nounced this week by Miss C. J. Hoey, of the Wilmette office of the North Shore Real Estate company. The home is a 14-room colonial residence, with riparian rights.
