The benefits that young men derive from 30 days in the C. M. T. C. has been recognized by these employers and they fully appreciate that this training is not only beneficial to those attending, but that these young men return to their work in better physical condition and better employes by reason of this training. In 1925 over 450 different firms and corporations sent young men to the Citizens' Mili- tary Training Camps. The government pays transportation of the young men who attend to and from their homes, provides food and clothing while at the camps and such medical atention as may be necessary. In addition to the physical and military training during the camps ample pro- vision is made for recreation and athletics during the afternoon. Dances, shows, motion pictures and other forms of entertainment are provided for the evenings. The requirements for attendance are that the applicant be of good moral character, physically qualified to under- go the training and be between 17 and 24 years of age. Application blanks for making ap- plication to attend the camps will be furnished upon request made to Com- manding General, Sixth Corps Area, 1819 West Pershing road, Chicago, IIL Maj. Frederick E. MUSIC WEEK SINGERS The Winnetka Rotary club will take part in the National Music Week pro- gram to be held at Community House Sunday evening, May 2. The business and professional men united in this group have developed considerable talent at their weekly luncheons and have some surprises in store for their fellow villagers. Carleton W. Good- win, with the co-operation of Winnetka Post of the American Legion. The services will be held in the Congrega- tional church, Sunday evening, May 30. This service is for the entire com- munity. CIRCUS PARADE TODAY Many villagers are expected to make their way to Evanston this morning to witness the annual circus parade, to be staged there as a forrunner to the circus presented in Patten gym- nasium by the sororities and frater- nities of the university.
