Selects Paintings From Art League Exhibit The picture committee at New Trier High school has selected F. C. Pey- raud's painting, "Lake Lugano," from among those which have been on ex- hibition at the school, following the North Shore Art league's exhibit at the Winnetka Community House. This picture has been purchased for the school and will be hung in one of the halls. It is a painting of an Italian lake, done in Italy by Mr. Peyraud, and is said to have exceptionally rich coloring. Another picture which was a great favorite with the students of the school was "The Lure of the -- Northland," by Spellman, and this is 5 to be purchased by the Girls' club, with the help of the French club, it is announced. HOCKEY TEAM PLAYS The Winnetka Hockey team has challenged its greatest rival, the Mid- way Hockey team of Chicago to a game of field hockey to be played Saturday, May 22, on the North Shore Country Day school field. The game will begin at 1:30 o'clock in the after- noon so that golf fans will be able to attend before they start the after- noon round of play. All residents of the village are invited to attend the game. South view as seen from Waukegan Road.
