a May 29, 1926 WINNETKA TALK Is Two Ball Players Hurt in "Head-on" Collision Last Sunday, during a ballgame at a | picnic in the Forest Preserve, in which a number of young people from Win- netka were participating, Stanhope Adams, of 567 Ash street, collided with Charles Babcock, his neighbor, who resides just across the street, at 566 Ash street, sustaining injuries which sent Adams to the Evanston hospital for two or three days. Babcock quick- ly recovered from the shock of the im- pact when the two players, running after a fly ball, went together, "head- on." Adams' right knee was seriously injured, and although he is out of the hospital, he is unable to get about without the aid of crutches.
