Defeats Wilmette at Baseball Wilmette and Winnetka Post office forces have opened a series of three baseball games for the championship of the two offices. The first game was played Monday evening, June 7, at Wilmette. Winnet- ka captured the first tilt in a closely contested game, wining in the last inning, the score being a tie at the end of the eighth inning. The next game is to be played at Winnetka Monday evening June 14. Scandinavian Church Services Are Announced Services at the Scandinavian Evan- gelical church on Sunday, June 13, will begin with the Sunday school. Rev. Rohrbach will preach the sermon at 11 o'clock and will also speak at the Young People's meeting at 5 o'clock in the afternoon. He will preach again at 8 o'clock in the evening. Tuesday evening, June 15, there will be a meet- ing for all members of the church. On Wednesday, June 16, Professor A. L. Wedell will give an address in the Swedish language at the church at 8:15 o'clock in the evening. Printz, former president of the so- ciety, and others are to be present Wednesday, June 16, at the annual picnic as guests of the northwest side branch of the organization.
