The Roadster is now $2700; the Gray Goose Traveler $2700; the 5-passenger Sedan $3150; the 7-Passenger Sedan $3250. These figures make the buyer pause, con- sider, examine. What an alluring invest- ment in finer motoring and enduring transportation! There has been no cheapening, no change. Besides all the usual equipment and fit- ments--rear view mirror and the like--each Wills Sainte Claire is furnished with such costly accessories as: Lovejoy Shock Ab- sorbers; Winterfronts; special Bi-Flex de luxe bumpers both front and rear; and many others. For quiet delivery of smooth-flowing power, for original beauty, the Wills Sainte Claire has long held a place of its own. Now excess values still further distinguish it--a fact that deserves an investigation and a ride. All prices f. o. b. Marysville, Michigan, tax extra R. N. BOEHMER Distributor 5250 Broadway, Chicago. Tel. Edgewater 2900 WILLS SAINTE CIAIRE Motor Cars First Principal Frank L. Smart Frank IL. Smart, first principal of New Trier High school, is described by one of his associates of the earlier days as a "dignified and efficient" ex- ecutive. "Only those who worked in dany contact with him can realize how much the school owes to his energy and his interest in its development," con- tinues that instructor. He was primarily an organizer and was re- markably well-fitted to direct the ac- tivities of a school at the time of its very beginning. Mr. Smart left New Trier after a few years to accept the position of superintendent of the pub- lic schools in Davenport, Iowa. Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Florsheim of Chicago have leased the John R. IL.eonard home at 861 Bryant avenue for the summer. SHOW SCHOOL GROWTH IN GIGANTIC PAGEANT (Continued from Page 17) only the "Curricular," but also the "Extra-Curricular Activities," clamor- ing tor admittance. Chooses "Progress" Their very numbers and the variety of their attributes so impresses "The Boy" and "The Girl" with the breadth and progressive alertness of their school that, child-like, they ask to see into the future. This, of course, can- not be; but the goddess, "Future" her- self, allows them the choice of either of her two daughters, "Progress" and "Retrogression," to be their comrade and guide in the years to come. They wisely choose "Progress"; and with that choice the "Court of King Thought" is adjourned and the "In- augural March"--the honorary con- duct of the elected "Activities" to the halls of the school--begins; and the pageant of New Trier's Quarto-Cen- tennial anniversary of its birth is brought to a close. School Paper Tries Out New Method of Editing The New Trier News, published weekly by the high school students under the direction of the faculty of the English department, ends the year with this week's issue. The News aims to guide, unite, and express the spirit of the student body. This year a new plan of editorship was tried out by Robert H. Carpenter, faculty super- viser. Instead of having one editor for the whole year, as was done previous- ly, the News was run by an editorial board of ten members, who took turns in being editor-in-chief each week.
