The kindergarten, first and fourth grades of school closed directly after their commencement exercises. The fifth grade was dismissed on Thursday and the sixth grade on Fri- day. Wednesday, likewise, was the date of the annual upper school luncheon. The entire upper school, together with the alumni and the parents of the members of the senior class, assembled in the lunch room where a luncheon was served them by members of the lower grades. Following a few speeches and formal presentations of gifts symbolizing the thought of various classes and the re- sponsibility now passed on by the seniors, the entire group repaired to the girls' gymnasium where the annual program of surprise stunts was pre- sented by the various classes.
