] June 26, 1926 WINNE TKA TALK 17 Yale Gives Degrees to Two North Shore Students This Week | Two north shore men are counted | among the graduates of Yale univer- sity this week. They are Robert O. Clark of 596 Oak street, Winnetka, and Edward Gay Mason of 490 Jeffer- | son avenue, Glencoe. Mr. Clark is the son of Edwin Hill Clark, Yale '00, and prepared for Yale | at the Eliot school, the North Shore Country Day school and at Phillips- | Andover. At Sheff he took the course | in general science. He was a scholar of the second rank in freshman year and received general one-year honors for excellence in all studies in sopho- more year and two-year honors in junior year. He heeled the News in freshman year, was assistant manager of the varsity track team in junior vear and manager in senior year, re- ceiving his "Y." He was a member of the Undergraduate Athletic associa- tion, belongs to the Andover club, the Torch honor-society, and The Colony and Berzelius. Mr. Mason is the son of Edward H. Mason, Yale 92. He prepared for college at the New Trier High school and at Phillips-Andover. In freshman vear he was on the fall crew squad, and in 1924 he competed for manager- ship of the hockey team. He also went out for swimming, tennis and squash, and in freshman year he heeled the News. He served on the budget com- mittee in sophomore year, is a member of the Andover club, the University club, Delta Kappa Epsilon, and the Elihu club. Other graduates of Yale this year | who studied at New Trier are Henry | Godfrey Phillips, Jr., of Evanston, and | Frederick Roe of Chicago. Mrs. Frank E.
