June 26, 1926 WINNETKA TALK 31 Paid Fine Tribute The recent Twenty-fifth anniversary pageant at New Trier High school has called to mind the remarkable record of service at the school achieved by | Henry E. Brown Henry E. Brown, who was principal during the period from 1910 to 1918. When Mr. Brown assumed the principalship the school boasted but a single building and manual training annex and it was under his direction that the large forward-looking expan- sion of New Trier took place. When he left to enter the service of the government during the World war, the school was being visited by leading | education committees from every sec- tion of the country.
