September 18, 1926 WINNETKA TALK 13 Hanville-Jones Wedding to Take Place Next Week The marriage of Miss Doris Han- ville, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wil- liam W. Hanville, 840 Foxdale avenue, to Edward A. Jones of Wilmette, will take place, Saturday, September 25 at 8:30 o'clock, in the bride's home. Miss Hanville will be attended by Mrs. Carl Peterson, (Caroline Davis) of Chicago, as matron of honor, and by Miss Edith Bartelmann, Green Bay road, Glencoe, as maid of honor. The best man will be Dwight Bennett, stu- dent at the University of Illinois. Al- bert Kindre of Evanston, will also as- sist Mr. Jones. A reception will follow the cere- mony, which will be attended by rela- tives and close friends. The young couple plan to take a wedding trip by motor to Canada. They will make their home at the Linden Crest apart- ments in Wilmette. Miss Hanville attended Northwest- ern university, where she was a mem- ber of Delta Delta Delta sorority. Mr. Jones attended the School of Music, Northwestern university, and the Uni- versity of Illinois. Several bridge parties and showers have been given and will be given in Miss Hanville's honor. Thursdav evening, Miss Edith Bar- telmann, Green Bav road, Glencoe, gave a shower in Miss Hanville's hon- or. Miss Bartelmann is a student at the University of Illinois, a member of Alpha Psi Delta sorority. Fridav afternoon, Sentember 17, Mrs. Albert Powers of Chicago enter- tained at bridge in her honor. Satur- day, September 18, Mrs. R. E. Snider, 836 Foxdale avenue, entertained at bridge and luncheon for Miss Hanville. Miss Ethel May Sturgeon of Wil- mette is giving a shower for Miss Han- ville, Monday, September 20, and Mrs. Carl Peterson of Chicago will be host- ess of a shower on Tuesday, Septem- ber 21.
