The New Trier team has some good material this year and should give a good account of itself. Boy Playing in Yard Is Bitten by Unmuzzled Dog Richard Sauer, 7 year old son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Sauer, 1022 Ash street, was knocked down and severely hitten by an unmuzzled dog last Sat- urday, September 25. He was playing in the back yard of his home when the dog attacked him. The sight of his right eye was feared for, but further examination showed that his eye just escaped the bite. The dog not only wore no muzzle but was without a license, and is now in the hands of the police. The council voted to hold Scout meetings Thursday nights during the coming year. The meetings will start at 7:15 and be dismissed not later than 8:45 o'clock, so that the Scouts may be home by 9 o'clock. On the second Friday of each month, the council will meet for examinations. Examiners have been appointed by the council for each merit badge. Winnetka will have three troops this year, each with four patrols and a training patrol.
