October 9, 1926 WINNETKA TALK 13 Out-of-Town Guests Come to Winnetka for Nelson Wedding Out-of-town-guests who are coming to Winnetka to attend the wedding of Miss Lois Curtis Nelson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Murray Nelson, 870 Sheridan road, to Josiah Wheelwright, son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles C. Wheelwright of Boston and Cohasset, Mass., which will take place Saturday, October 16, at 4 o'clock, in Christ church, will stay with several Winnet- ka families, friends of Miss Nelson. Mr. and Mrs. Charles C. Wheel- wright, parents of the bridegroom are to be the guests of Mr. and Mrs. Hor- ace K. Tenney, 640 Pine street. Miss Mary Wheelwright will visit friends during her stay. Mr. and Mrs. Wal- lace Fairbank of New York are to be entertained by the Laird Bells of 1352 Tower road while they are in Winnet- ka. Thursday, October 14, Mrs. Charles Little of Evanston is entertaining the bridal party at a dinner for twelve, while Mr. and Mrs. Murray Nelson will give a dinner for the elder people the same evening. Next Friday, Oc- tober 15, Mrs. Laird Bell is entertain- ing the bridal party at luncheon. Friday evening, October 15, the Ern- est Ballards are giving a dinner party in their home at 811 Auburn road, Hubbard Woods. Mrs. Woodbridge Dickinson of Had- leigh Hill farms, St. Joseph, Mich., a sister of the late Leverett Thompson, will entertain at luncheon at Indian Hill for the bridegroom's mother the day of the wedding, and is planning to have twenty guests. Miss Nelson has chosen her sister, Miss Phoebe, as maid of honor, with her nieces, Lois and Winifred, daugh- ters of Mr. and Mrs. Thatcher Nelson, Newton Highlands, Mass., as flower girls. Mr. Wheelwright has asked Fessenden Blanchard of Boston to act as best man. Although the complete list of ushers has not been announced, John Cobb, 615 Elm street, Winnetka, is to serve as one of the ushers. Miss Margaret Hansen of 1143 As- bury avenue, Hubbard Woods, has returned from Boulder, Col, where she attended the summer sessions at the University of Colorado. Miss Han- sen has resumed her teaching at the Lincoln school in Evanston. ---- Miss Alicia Pratt has returned to Winnetka to resume her classes in dancing.
