BURR | wil, EERE SR October 16, 1926 WINNETKA TALK 17 Establish Unit of True Kindred on North Shore Saturday evening, October 9, a meet- ing was held at the home of Mrs. Fred M. Coxen, 1538 Central avenue, Wilmette, to organize a True Kindred Conclave. A large number of resi- dents of Wilmette, Winnetka and north Evanston were present. The meeting was in charge of Mrs. Nellie F. Walker, grand commander of the True Kindred of Illinois. It was de- cided that the name shall be Lake Shore Conclave and the place of meet- ing, the new Wilmette Masonic temple, and the time of meeting to be the sec- ond and fourth Tuesdays of each month. The True Kindred order has been in existence about twenty-five years and its membership is composed of Master Masons, their wives, widows, sisters and daughters. It is a charity organi- zation, directing its activities princi- pally in connection with children's welfare. Among other things, it has furnished and supplied the nursery at the Illinois Masonic hospital. There will be a card and bunco party, sponsored by the conclavg, at the home of Mrs. August Meyers, 1721 Highland avenue, Wilmette, Saturday evening, October 23. Mrs. Edward Stewart of Wenatchee, Wash., Mrs. John Kirkpatrick of the same city, and Miss Lucia Holbrook of Shelby, Ohio, sisters of Mrs. John C. Black of 1174 Tower road, are visit- ing Mrs. Black for ten days. They ar- rived in Winnetka Frida, October 15. Mrs. A.
