October 30, 1926 WINNETKA TALK 39 Stage and Screen News and Reviews THE HOYBURN One of the season's features to which fans who like Bebe Daniels' cunning and stunning ways have been looking forward to for some weeks past, "The Campus Flirt," comes to the Hoyburn theater with the current bill. The story concerns itself with a college girl who "highhats" the world when it fails to come up to her own standard, and her treatment in the hands of fellow. students provides a series of good laughs. When the Hoyburn bill changes Monday and Tuesday, W. C. Fields will be shown in his latest comedy fea- ture, "So's Your Old Man." It will be on the screen for two days only. Gene Tunney in "The Fighting Ma- rine" is a special addition to the cur- rent bill. When the bill changes Wed- nesday the feature will be "Love's Blindness" starring Pauline Starke. VILLAGE THEATRE "Variety," product of Paramount's European studio and tingling with in- tense drama and master acting, will be featured at the Village theater Mon- day, Tuesday and Wednesday, Novem- ber 1, 2 and 3. A Kelly Color picture, a Pathe News reel, and an Educational comedy will be the added attractions. "Passionate Quest," from the novel by E. Phillips Oppenheim, presents the lights of London, a promise of adven- ture, fame, and romance; youth's pas- sionate quest the world over, youth's dream of fame and fortune. Showing Thursday, November 4, with a Cameo comedy and a Pathe Review film. A thrilling, captivating, and clean cut comedy is presented in "Young April," for Friday and Saturday, No- vember 5 and 6.
