Prices Reasonable Madam Edythe For appointment call Irving 5484 Reserve Officers Hold Annual Mess; Defer Army Ball The annual mess of the North Shore Cook County chapter of the Reserve Officers' association was held last night at the North Shore hotel at 6:45 o'clock. The program for the evening as planned included the elec- tion of officers for the coming year, and short talks on national defense matters by officers*® including Col. Nathaniel F. McClure of Chicago, and Captain Gerald Chapman, head of the Northwestern university military de- partment. Members of the association from Wilmette, Winnetka, Glencoe and Highland Park were among the 150 guests present. Col. John H. Wigmore, dean of Northwestern university law school, was the presiding officer for the occasion. A musical program and other entertainment was scheduled for the evening. Other officers and former officers, not members of the associa- tion, were also present, as this chapter welcomes at this affair those not in- cluded in its roll call. Most of the guests attended the banquet in uniform. The formal army ball which the chapter had planned has been indefinitely postponed, and this occasion was to take its place. The list of officers who have served during the past year is: president, Maj. G. T. von Colditz, medical of- ficer in Evanston ;first vice-president, Col. John H.
