It is an American comedy of types, and these types have never been etched more sharply nor pointed more clearly. "The Family Upstairs" is, in truth, any family upstairs. You know them instantly. They are the folks who turn on the radio at unheard of hours of the morning when you want to sleep, and who want to sleep when you want to turn on the music. John Huddle, son of the Wiley J. Art League Opens Class in Painting to its Membership The class in painting which is being sponsored by the North Shore Art league, will be started on Wednesday, January 12, under the direction of George Oberteuffer, teacher of Life at the Chicago Art institute, formerly of the Salon d'Autumn, Paris, France. The class is to meet in Community House, Winnetka, and members of the league who are active in painting, are urged to join. The lessons will take place Wednesday and Thursday of each week, at 7 o'clock, continuing for twelve weeks.
