It is located in what is known as the sixth addition to Glen Oak Acres, where four more nice residences are to be started within the next two weeks, if the weather remains favor- able. There are already eight buildings in the first addition. There are five buildings in Glen Oak Acres proper, built some time ago; two others were constructed last fall and it is said a number of new homes are contemplat- ed there this summer. The improve- ments in Glen Oak Acres include gas, electricity, water, a septic-tank sewer system and hard roads. These are in all the several additions as well as in Glen Oak Acres proper. Wilmette West Section Awaits Building Boom With the installation of water mains practically completed in the section of Wilmette, west of Ridge avenue, and with progress on the work of putting in the new sewer system well along, building activity in this section, it is predicted, will go forward with unpre- cedented speed. J. H. Schaefer & company, real es- tate dealers at 809 Ridge avenue, Wil- mette, report that many people are now awaiting the further completion of these improvements to begin. Many pieces of vacant have been changing hands with the view of building as soon as possible. Ralph W. Douglas expects to begin within the next week the erection of a residence on Hollywood avenue, just west of the Ridge. Hollywood is a continuation of Greenwood avenue. exposition, which opens in the Coliseum April 2. Already a car load of na- tional building material exhibits is there waiting to be unloaded. Those attending are promised the most educational exposition of its kind. ever held. Every type of house construction, together with the plan- ning, selection of the homesite, financ- ing, building, decorating, furnishing and landscaping of the home, will be shown. The feature of the exposition is the "Court of Homes," surrounding a gar- den. Houses of brick, stucco, frame, concrete and faced concrete units will be shown. The front elevations will be finished but the interior will be a cross section appearing like a gigantic knife had cut through them to show how walls, floors, roofs and structural work should be done. The exposition is conducted under the auspices of the Chicago Real Es- tate board. The "Committee of Admin- istration" appointed by the board for the supervision of the exposition 1s headed by Henry G. Zander, Jr., who is fifth vice-president of the Chicago Real Estate board. Mr. Zander's com- mittee consists of: S. O. Stone, 4503 Milwaukee avenue; George Beaton, Hinsdale; Marvin E. Ellinwood, 25 N. Dearboard street; George L. Bruckert, Oak Park; Harry W.
