The Golden Text was from Psalms 33:11, "The counsel of the Lord stand- eth for ever, the thoughts of his heart to all generations." Among the citations which compris- ed the lesson-sermon was the following from the Bible: "Brethern, I count not myself to have apprehended; but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus" (Philippians 3:13, 14). The lesson-sermon also included the following passages from the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures," by Mary Baker Eddy: "There is but one way to heaven, harmony, and Christ in divine Science shows us this way. It is to know not other reality--to have no other consciousness of life--than good, God and His reflection, and to rise superior to the so-called pain and pleasure of the senses" (p. 242). C. J.
