April 23, 1927 WINNETKA TALK 25 ~~ White Elephant Sale Both Clearing House and Treasure Trove The "white elephants" that are being turned out of Winnetka households to increase daily the collection at Com- munity House, Winnetka, are going to prove a treasure cache for the right buyers at the Community exchange or White Elephant sale to be held there May 4 and 5. The sale is for the benefit of the Winnetka Congregation- al new church building fund.
