Younglove Purchases Skokie Heights Residence The sale of the new English type residence in Skokie Heights, Glencoe, on Skokie road, erected by Paul L. Battey, was consummated this week by McGuire & Orr, Edward H. Young- love being the purchaser, the land dimensions being 110 feet front and 175 feet deep. The improvement consists of a nine-room brick residence with 2- car attached garage. The roof is of heavy slate. Winn. 330 Films of Arden Shore . . Initiate Fund Campaign Moving pictures showing the activ- ities of the children at the Arden Shore camp were on view at the afternoon and evening performances of the reg- ular moving pictures shown at Com- munity House, Friday, May 13. The film was run as a part of the regular show and roused much interest in the cause of Arden Shore. In addition to the film, the boys' glee club of Arden Shore wave several num- bers to entertain the audience. This is preparatory to the drive for funds which officially opens Saturday, May 14. One hundred and forty-five Winnetka women have been recruited into the ranks of canvassers. Women's Bible Class Will Hear Noted Evanstonian The Women's Bible class of the Win- netka Congregational church will have as its speaker this Sunday Mrs. H. B. Williams of Evanston. Mrs. Williams has been a teacher of women in the First Methodist church of Evanston for many years, and has long been rec- ognized as a source of inspiration to her classes. All women are invited to hear Mrs. Williams in the Neighbor- hood room of Community House at 9:30 o'clock Sunday morning. Mr. and Mrs. Frank D. Fulton of 884 Hill road, accompanied by their daughter, Marion, left Thursday, May 12, for Louisville, Ky., to attend the Derby. They will return to Winnetka, Monday. SO Rev. and Mrs. E. Ashley Gerhard of 482 Linden avenue are expected to re- turn to Winnetka about June 1. They have been traveling in California for the past few weeks.
