This painting is the work of two of the advanced art students of New Trier, Carol Lou Burnham and Elsie Reinhardt, under the supervision of Miss Murphy. The figures on the painting were made by Miss Rein- hardt, the background and scenery by Miss Burnham. The mural now hangs above the main stairway of the Central building at New Trier.
