Plans for a new and interesting ac- tivity of the North Shore Art league were developed at a meeting of a special committee at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Ullrich, 925 Lake ave- nue, Wilmette. For some time, the necessity has been felt of broadening the appeal of the league, and its ser- vice to north shore communities, by combining with its more intensive work some feature of general and popular interest. As a result of the efforts of this committee, arrange- ments have been made whereby a series of lectures will be given by Dudley Crafts Watson, under the auspices of the league. This will be the first series of lec- tures to be delivered by Mr. Watson since his extended European tour of the past summer, and interest will be added to them by the slides with which they will be illustrated. The lectures will be given at Matz hall, Community House, Winnetka, at 8 o'clock on the following evenings, and on the follow- ing subjects: October 10.
