A suggested name for the new or- ganization was the North Shore Rela- tions committee. It will have for its membership five members from each of the Chambers of Commerce in Ev- | angton, Wilmette, Winnetka, Glencoe | and Highland Park. Other north shore towns will also be included in the membership as rapidly as pos- sible. { The work of the organization will consist chiefly in the study of prob- lems which affect the north shore as a whole. Such matters as grade sep- arations through automobile traffic and | the draining of the Skokie valley will | receive the early attention of the new | organization with the hope that united action of all the towns will result. The first pullman sleeping car was | constructed in the Chicago & Alton railroad company's shops at Bloom- ington, Illinois, and made its first trip | from Bloomington to Chicago in 1859. { The Illinois Traction system was the | first electric railway to supply sleeping | car service.
