Illinois Street Chicago, IIL. | BOOST THE NORTH SHORE AT THE CONVENTION North Shore Real Estate Board Members Go to East St. Louis Singing Praises of Their Sec. The North Shore Real Estate board was featured by its large representa- tion and general activities in the elev- enth annual convention of the Illinois Association of Real Estate Boards in session in East St. Louis this week, and occupied a prominent place in the an- nual parade held Friday morning. The thousands of people who lined the streets comprising the parade route are now well informed that there is such a place as the Great North Shore in Illinois. The convention delegates, from the time of the first session Wed- nesday afternoon {frequently heard from the members comprising the North Shore representation, and the parade gave the North Shore "boost- ers" their opportunity to carry their "message" to the world in a forceful manner. When the north shore delegation boarded the 'special train at the Il- linois Central depot Wednesday morn- | ing at 10:30, they carried, in addition to their personal baggage a carefully wrapped and crated parcel of rather large dimensions. The contents comprised two large signs, on one of which was printed in huge leters: "Where All Chicago Would Live If They Could." The other sign read: "The North Shore-Wilmette, Kenil- worth, Winnetka,, Glencoe, Highland Park, Glenview, Northbrook, Deer- field." When the column formed for the parade the North Shore delegation was headed by the largest colored man they could find in East St. Louis, whom theg had adorned in a bright uniform. In the North Shore section of the parade was also an old dilapidated au- tomobile, horse drawn. On the car was a banner, "1926-22, Members all asleep." Directly following the old car was a bright new Packard car, representing the North Shore Real Estate board of today. On this car was a large sign, "1927-Over 50 Members, All Awake." The first general session of the con- vention was held at the Broadview hotel Thursday morning at 10 o'clock. The members of the North Shore Real Estate board who are attending the convention are: J. B. Bradwell, of Hubbard Woods; Howard H. Brown, of Murray & Terry, Winnetka; F. Coleman Burroughs, of F. Coleman Burroughs & Co., Wil- mette ; Robert H.
