John Kiewik Builds New Sunset Road and Subdivides Homesite When the new section of Sunset road which John Kiewik is extending through _his property from Church road on the west to the new Through highway on the east is completed, Mr. Kiewik will have ready for the market fourteen of the choicest lots that have been offered on the north shore in recent years. The new street is about 180 feet north of where Hill road enters Church road, and passes through the Kiewik home property at 171 Church road, a small acreage tract which he purchased 43 years ago and which has since been his home. In very recent years this section of Winnetka, known as the Indian Hill section has been developing very rap- idly. Many fine new residences have been erected within this vicinity dur- ing the past twelve months and still there is a demand for more building sites. Fach of the fourteen lots which Mr. Kiewik's new street now provides will have a depth of 135 feet. One will have a frontage of 70 feet with a width of 94 feet in the rear and the others will have a frontage fo 60 feet, except the four with a north front which will be 55 feet wide. Mr. Kiewik is retaining a large tract in connection with his old home residence at 171 Church road, which, however, is so located, that later on, if it is so desired, it too, made be divided into smaller lots to the east. The new street he expects to have completed within a week or ten days. He is putting in the street, including the other improvements in connection, therewith, such as sewer, water mains, storm sewer, side walks and a cement roadway.
