Herb and Frank Rugen, also of Glenview, and Ed Meyer of Wilmette, were with Levernier when the car in which they were driving was struck by a train. The members of the party escaped serious injury except Levernier, who had several ribs fractured. He is now at home, but the physician says he will be laid up for a long time.
