A familiar Evanston corner NOW Evanston has an- other street intersection as well-known as Fountain Square itself -- it's the Vera Megowen Corner, Davis Street and Hinman Avenue. For here is a delight- fully smart tea room in a block of smart new shops. Here is a cuisine such as one would willingly go far to seek, yet The Vera Megowen is fortunately a neighbor to the important centers of social interest. Truly an institution of life on the North Shore! [CO] Luncheon: r11:30-2:30 Afternoon Tea: 2:30-5:30 Dinner: 5:30-8:30 Sunday until 9:00 Greenleat 4585 for reservations. era egowen
