As its title implies, "Inside the Lines," is a story of international in trigue and scheming at a time shortly after the outbreak of the World war {in 1914. The picturesque Rock of | Gibraltar is the scene of such a plot, {in which the governor general of | Gibraltar, British officers, spies, secret | service agents and a Hindu servant are involved, as well as a group of | worthy citizens from Kewanee, Ill, and an American girl from New York. Has Fine Experience The masculine lead is being taken by John Iliff, a senior, who will be re membered for his capable work last vear as the lead in "The Ghost Story," presented at the Girls' club bazaar, and for minor roles in "A Thousand Years | Ago," and "Icebound." With this pre- vious experience, there is reason to ex- pect a smooth performance in his por- trayal of Captain Woodhouse. Jean Marx, also a senior, is to be | cast as Miss Jane Gerson, the feminine i lead. Her experience has been limited to a single play during her early high school career at Country Day school, from which she came to New Trier a year ago. English Classes Arrange Social Evening The English classes for foreigners are to enioy a social time Monday evening, November 7. when they meet with the "Good Luck" club after the class hour and stage a special program, followed by refreshments in the Camp Fire Room of Community House. The "Good Luck" club is an out- orowth of last year's English classes and meets every Monday evening for 2 regular program and social time. This is the first general meeting of the Fnelish classes as a unit-group, and it is planned to have others later during the winter.
