Ippolitow-Iwanow The first of the current season's Little Symphony concerts, George Dasch, director, held under au- spices of the New Trier Orches- tral association, will be given in the New Trier auditorium Mon- day evening, November 14. There is to be a Children's concert at 2:30 o'clock in the afternoon, while the evening program be- gins at 8:15 o'clock. In the afternoon concert the orchestra will appear with Miss Maria Matyas, youthful soprano, as soloist. A sketch of this amazingly talented girl is to be found on the Music page of this issue. The program for the evening concert has been selected by Mr. Dasch with a view to displaying the entire orchestra. The single departure from this arrangement will be the obligato violin solo in the Prelude to "The Deluge," by Saint-Saens, played by Herman Felber, concert-master of the Little Symphony.
