WILMETTE 1647 Form Unique Building and Loan Association A new building and loan assocation with several entirely unique features has been formed in Evanston. The authorized capital to be accumulated by the new organization, the Building and Loan association of Evanston, is $1,000,000 and the nine directors elected are: Nels M. Hokanson, David C. Malin, H. Morton Bodfish, Herbert Jenks, Horace D. Bent, C. P. Hodge- son, Meyer J. Sturm and Victor Ort- lund. Officers will be elected at a meet- ing of the directors in the near future. Mr. Hodgeson and F. C. Winship, who is acting secretary, are Wilmette men. Ernst Wienhoeber and his daughter, Miss Edna Wienhoeber, of 791 Bryant avenue, have left Winnetka for Tryon, N. C., where they will spend the winter. R. M. Ostermann Buys Kenilworth Residence R. M. Ostermann, vice-president of the Capital T Superheater company, has purchased the home of E. L. Essley at 234 Warwick road, Kenilworth, for an undisclosed consideration. The property comprises an Italian residence surrounded by almost an acre of ground, this being one of Kenilworth's show places. Mr. Ostermann, who now lives in Evanston, plans extensive alterations and, when completed, will occupy it as his home. C. P. Rorick and company of Winnetka were the brokers. North Shore Girls Win Places on Hockey Squad There are many girls from the north shore on the soccer teams at Smith college which have been chosen this week after practices and tryouts since September. The teams include Vir- ginia Del.ay, Frances Ranney, Mary Parker, and Elizabeth Babcock of Winnetka, Caroline Kimball of Glen- coe, and Dorothy Dickinson of Hub- bard Woods.
