During the past five years the en- rollment of the college has practically doubled, but the increase from 612 to 822 students in the last year is par- ticularly significant as it represents the result of the removal from Chi- cago to the North Shore as shown by the figures for the first complete year in this location, Harrison hall, the col lege buildine, is filled to capacity and additional dormitory accommodations had to be secured in an apartment ad joining Marienthal. Marv Schools Represented Twenty-five college graduates and 235 students with some previous college or normal school training, representing 145 different schools, were included in the enrrllment. the largest number coming from Northwestern university and the University of Chicago. Three hundred and seventv-one high schools were renresented, the following quotas coming from local schools: Evanston Township High school, 31; Oak Park, 19: Lake View, 18; Nicholas Senn, 13; Lyons Township, 12; and Waukegan, 10. 5 Auto Accidents Reported to Police Within Four Days Five automobile accidents have been reported by the Winnetka police since Thursday of last week. There were two on November 10; one the follow- ing day and two on November 13. One of the former accidents was at Linden avenue and Willow street where cars driven by G. F. Austin, of 437 Chest- nut street, and IL. DeSanto, of Greeley and Washington streets, Wilmette, col- lided. Both drivers were injured, but not seriously, according to Sergeant Ed Cummings and Officer Harold Lew- is. The other accident, the same eve- ning, occurred at Center and Eldorado, in. which M. E. Bault, of 1516 Maple avenue, Evanston was injured. His car was parked at.the curb, with a door open which was struck by a car driven by John M. Conners, of 749 Grove street, Glencoe, according to the report of Sergeant Ed Cummings and Officer William Burgdorf. The one accident occurring the fol- lowing day was the result of cars skidding on a wet pavement. The drivers were D. S. Magill, of 471 Elder lane, Winnetka and T. S. Delang, of 1501 Forest avenue, Wilmette. Neith- er driver was injured according to the report of Sergeant Ed Cummings and Officer Carl Bishop. November 13 proved unlucky for John Burdette, of 300 Ponlar street, and 7. H. Lindemann, of 1089 Spruce street, Winntka, when the car driven by the former crashed into the right side of the car driven by Lindemann, at Elm street and Lindn avenue, according to the report of Officer Ralph Ray- burn.
