Duncan-Clarke of Wilmette will be speaker at the dinner to be given patrons of the art movement sponsored by the University guild and the Ev- anston Art commission, to be held at the Orrington hotel Monday evening, Dec. 5. Six Purple Grid Men End Football Careers Six Northwestern football men wound up their college careers in that sport Saturday. Those who will be seen no more in a Purple grid uni- form are Capt. Vic Gustafson, Tiny Lewis, Waldo Fisher, Rudy and Al Schuler and Bus Owens. The first four were regulars while the others saw service as substitutes during the last three years. In Gustafson, Lewis, Fisher and Rudy Schuler, the Purple loses four valuable men who have performed bril- liantly in the past. Each of the four were among the leaders in their po- sitions. All have won mention as among the outstanding players of the Big Ten. All four will be seen in other sports during the remainder of the school year. Fisher is a star forward on the basketball team, while Lewis is cap- tain of the track team and Schuler is captain of the wrestling team. Gustaf- son plans to play baseball next spring.
