LO ANS Ji COMMISSION On Desirable Homes and Apartment Buildings John Hancock Mutual Life Insur- ance Company A. D. LANGWORTHY, Loan Agent 'November Permits for Building in Kenilworth, $41,500 Four building permits were issued in Kenilworth during the past month for improvements amounting to $41,500, all of which, with the exception of $600, for a garage, represeats the cost of the three new residences authorized during November. One significant feature in the month's building record, however, was the opening up of another section of Kenilworth's new northwest territory, which is promising so much. Two of the permits were issued for residences on Maclean avenue, the northernmost street of the village in this section and adjacent to the extensive building ac- tivity which has featured the Winnet- ka area just across the line. James Crabb, of Wilmette, is build- ing one of the new houses here, a two story brick veneer and detached two car garage, located at 712 Laclean ave- nue and which, according to the permit is to cost $10,000. Edwin R. Cole is building the other new house on this street, at No. 745, which also is to be a two story brick veneer, costing $13,500. The other permit was for an $18,000 two story brick veneer residence, with attached two car garage, which F. C. Heer, of Chicago, is building at 132 Winnetka avenue.
