So reads an old saying that in all endeavor is proven true. Nor is work of the Community House an exception for "the set of the sails" in the work it is doing--the trend of the whole-- is determining its goal and keeping it moving. That trend has ever been to- ward increased usefulness in the par- ticular part it plays in the life of the village--greater helpfulness to young and old; increased facilities for health- ful recreation. A glance at the present activities in Community House shows over fifty groups using the center regularly. Some of these meet daily, some two or three. times a week, some once a week, some twice a month, some once a month. They embrace interests and activities for children, youth and adults. They range through classes in gymnasium 'work, art, drama, music, sewing, study, dancing--in fact all in- terests. There are civic groups, church groups, social groups, foreign groups, and organizations for boys and girls. One cannot know Community House-- really know it--without visiting it of- ten and observing its interests and ways of serving.
