New Trier Tankers Encounter Evanston This Saturday Eve New Trier High school swimmers meet the mermen from Fvanston high school, this Saturday night at 8 o'clock at the New Trier tank. While Evanston has the edge on paper over the New Trier swimmers it will not be a runaway meet in any partic- ular, since the time records rolled up by the fasiest men in the two schools show little to choose between. Coach Jackson of New Trier will probably stick pretty closely to his re- vised lineup. Bennett and Roos are slated for the senior forty yard swim and the 100 yard crawl. Rogers was Coach Jackson's only entry in the 220 last Saturday, and will probably swim tomorrow. Rogers and Rich will be assigned to the breaststroke event, and Read and Netterstrom in the backstroke. Don Granstrom and Enchelmeyer will be entered in the fancy diving, while the regular quartet -- Roos, Bennett, Williams, and Paterson, are the New Trier relay entrants. The forty-yard event men for Evans- ton will probably be Troup and Eisner, with Wilson and Aiken in the 100 yard event The breaststroke men will be Troup and Crawford, according to in- dications. Bowman and Verner will probably be the backstroke men, while Hartwell and Kordt are the fancy div- ers. Coolidge and Fitch are the men in the 200 yard ireestyle. Holmes is generally well up among the high point men for the Evanston juniors, and Banks and Beach are also dependable. For New Trier juniors, Prussing, Larner, Zinner, Springer, and Granstrom are the outstanding men. King has returned to the New Trier lineup after an enforced absence because of illness, and will undoubtedly do his part in the meet. N. U.
