This is a change from the usual meet- ing place for services which have been convening in the Winnetka Masonic temple. The new temple of this con- gregation will be dedicated Sunday, March 4. Cole, a resident of Win- netka for 35 years, died February 2 at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Wil- liam Henrichsen of Pasadena, Cal. He had been ill with double pneumonia for less than a week. Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon in Pasa- dena, and burial will be held early next week at Fond du Lac, Wis, where two of Mr. Cole's children, and his wife, who died May 21, 1927, are buried. At the time of his death, Mr. Cole was 74 years old. He retired six years ago from service with the Chicago and Northwestern railroad and went to California to make his home with his daughter. He had been with the railroad for 49 years. Surviving Mr. Cole are his two daughters, Mrs Henrichsen and Mrs. A. M. Kloepfer of 325 Linden avenue, and a son, Leonard, of 468 Ridge ave. Winnetka. URINE, FOR OUR EYES Panthers Capture Tight Game From Grater's Lights The Winnetka Panthers won the most thrilling game of the season last Mon- day evening when they defeated Clyde Grater's Lightweight basketball team, in a terrific battle, by one point. The score was 16 to 15. The Panthers were on the short end at the beginning of the fourth quarter, but with accurate shooting and passing they rolled up three baskets to the lead. From this point on, the Panthers played a defensive game, while their opponents fought like wildcats. The Panthers, as a result of the showing in Monday evening's game, feel they have completed their team work. They have games scheduled for the re- mainder of the season, playing every Monday evening at 7 o'clock, at Com- munity House. Next Monday evening they will meet Mr. Wehr's "Rarin' Lights." The public is welcome to at- tend all games. New Trier Drama Group Hears Four Readings Thursday, February 2 there was a meeting of the Dramatic club of New Trier High school. The first part of rthe meeting was devoted to business. Miss Harriet Allan then gave four readings. y The Dramatic club is made up of the students who have participated in the plays produced at the school. In or- der to belong to this club it is neces- sary to have had a speaking part in a play or to have had two parts as a supernumerary. The Players, an in- ner organization of the Dramatic club, is made up of those who have had two or more important roles.
