Okean company, manu- facturing furriers, 567 Lincoln avenue, Winnetka, have more than doubled the size of the storage vault in their establishment, whereby there is now an additional 200 square feet of space in this department, providing a vault in which the contents are secure against fire, burglars and moths. The vault is used for storage of the large stock of valuable furs which the M. B. Okean company carries, and to insure the utmost in safety for those valuable materials belonging to customers, when left there for storage or for alterations and repairs. An intruder in this vault will invite a quick response to the automatic alarm system, and if, by any chance, he should get by these precautions, he will yet have to face a deluge of tear gas, which Mr. Okean says will not only flood the vault, but will make the entire store rdom uninhabitable, in the twinkling of an eye. Girls Near Final Lap of Cage Tournament The girls of New Trier High school have reached their final lap of the bas- ketball season, for squads have been chosen for the three upper classes, and there is to be no freshman team this season. The freshmen will continue playing among themselves with the teams they had in the practice tourna- ment. Mondays and Tuesdays the upper classes will occupy the gym with their games, and Thursdays and Fri- days the freshmen will play.
