Almost every teacher of the north shore will attend. Two general ses- sions will be held during the day. The rest of the meeting will be sectional and will include separate sections for teachers of the various departments, such as music and art. A separate meeting will be held for Parent-Teach- er representatives. SCOUTMASTERS' ROUND-TABLE The Scoutmasters' Round-Table for the North Shore Area Scout council will be held at the Green Tea Pot in Highland Park on Monday, April 16. Two Winnetka Boys on Purple Baseball Nine When Northwestern university sent its baseball team South on its spring training trip, two Winnetka boys were included on the roster. William Carey, who has been the first string catcher on the Winnetka amateur nine for several years, went for the second time. Last year Bill was a substitute, but this year it ap- pears he will be a regular. Accom- panying Bill was James Miller, in reality a Chicago boy, but a regular on the Winnetka team last year. He plays second base and is expected to start the season at the keystone sack ior Northwestern. A joint meeting of all of the troops of the North Shore Area council will be held at the Glencoe Union church on Tuesday, April 27. This will take the form of a Camp Reunion. Winnetka Boy Scouts to Have Own Cabin in Woods The Winnetka Boy Scouts are eagerly awaiting the time when they will have their own cabin. At pres- ent they are using the North Shore Area Scout cabin which is the property of the Forest Preserve. Some time ago the Winnetka Izaak Walton league chapter promised some land upon which the Scouts could erect a cabin, but some delay has been occasioned {n acquiring title to the tract. The Waltonians, in co-operation with the Winnetka Rotary club and several other organizations, have raised a fund for this purpose. It is planned to have the Scouts erect the cabin themselves as a part of their Scout work toward Pioneer- ing Merit badges. They hope to fin- ish the cabin this spring.
