Twelve Billion In Sales One Year's Production The Chicago Real Estate board is getting out a series of notable facts about Chicago. The first states that that city's annual production in manu- facturing, wholesale and retail sales is Twelve Billion Dollars ($12,000,000,000) a year. That is a staggering figure. Twelve billion dollars will buy ten states of the Union outright, will pay the expenses of the United States gov- ernment for one hundred years from 1791 to 1891 including the Civil war and will buy all the church and school property in America. That's some- thing for Realtors to think about.
