Membership in Business Ranks Building the membership of the Win- netka Chamber of Commerce up to include one hundred percent of the business men of the village is one of the plans of the Chamber for this year, according to President W. T. Wersted, who spoke at the annual dinner Mon- day evening. The affair was for the members, their families and employes. It was held at Community House. One hun- dred seventy-five attended. The Chamber and their guests were entertained during the dinner by the Saxon Sisters, "The Two Baby Dolls," with harmony singing and dancing. _ Thomas J. Lynch, retiring president, introduced each of the retiring mem- bers of the board of directors and also the members of the new board, follow- ing which the recently installed presi- dent, William T. Wersted, made a brief address, outlining the plans of the Chamber for the year. Dancing followed the dinner, Joe Schneider's orchestra furnishing the music. A number played bridge. Bride and Groom Living Temporarily in Winnetka The marriage of Miss Priscilla Ruby Conrad, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George F. Conrad of Highland Park, to Harold Ralph Fossum, son of Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Fossum of 1021 Cherry street, took place Monday, May 7 at 8 o'clock, at the Lutheran church in Highland Park. The Rev. W. F. Suhar officiated. The bride wore a white lace and taffeta period dress with a tulle veil in bandeau effect crossed here and there with orange blossoms, and car- ried a shower bouquet of bride's roses and white sweet peas. Miss Carol Fossum, sister of the groom, was maid of honor, and wore a pink flowered organdie. The bridesmaids were Miss Helen. Lange of Waukegan, who wore a green organdie, and Miss Bernice Pearl of Highland Park, who wore a yellow organdie. All the bride's at- tendants carried old fashioned bou- quets, and their dresses were made in period style. Wesley Conrad, brother of the bride, was best man. Oscar Fossum, brother of the groom, and Charles Nordberg of Winnetka were ushers. After the services a reception for seventy rela- tives followed in the church rooms. The couple motored in Wisconsin for a few days following the wedding and, until they take up their residence in Highland Park, are residing with Mr. Fossum's relatives, the O. H.
