May 26, 1928 WINNETKA TALK 39 North Shore Women Charter Members for New Golf Club Many north shore women are inter- ested in the fact that Chicago is to have a new golf club. Among the charter members for this venture are: Mrs. Charles Klotz, Indian Hill; Mrs. Grant Ridgway, Kenilworth; Mrs. Hathaway Watson, Winnetka, and Miss Earnestine Pearce of Hubbard Woods, who is acting secretary of the club which is to be called the Dundee Country club. This is not merely another golf club but a unique one. It is to be a true country club for women in the beauti- ful Barrington district and will be, in character, similar to one in the east and one in England. Men will not be entirely barred but they are not to be members. Husbands are to have playing privileges for a certain yearly fee. The membership will be kept small and exclusive. The quaint clubhouse which is to be made from the old farm buildings will have over-night accommodations. There will be a sporty golf course through hills and woods, tennis courts, Everything Checked! His service department has checked over the con- dition of each Used Car he offers--and it is offered to you on the basis of being all that it is repre- sented.
