Gentlemen: In connection with my opinion of your burner and the service given by you, I might say that I am more than pleased with both. Last year I burned between 2,400 and 2,600 gallons of oil as against a higher consumption be- fore I put in your burner. There has been a distinct economy in fuel consumption and the heat at all times has been reliable and ample. J. L. Wilds John L. Wilds, 244 Oxford Road, Kenilworth, Ill. EVANSTON SHOWROOM 1620 Sherman Ave. Greenleaf 700 .| avenue and Kenilworth Kenilworth Voters to Ballot on Land Purchases Monday Kenilworth voters will go to the polls next Monday to vote on the proposed issuing of four percent bonds to cover the cost of purchasing two tracts of land between West Railroad Community Development subdivision, one to the south and the other to the north of Coventry road extended and both created by the ordinance passed re- ently carrying Coventry road through from the west to the railroad. The election will be held in conjunction with the County election in which judges for the Superior court will be elected. The polling place will be the Village hall. Condemnation proceedings for the taking of the two tracts for Village purposes, the south tract for a village hall site and north tract as a site for a fire station, have been instituted by the board. The cost of the properties will be determined by the court in the condemnation proceedings and in order to provide ample funds for their purchase the board has passed ordin- ances for issuing a total of $111,000 in bonds. A letter, signed by a group of thirty prominent residents and outlining the advantages of purchasing the sites and urging the voters to approve the project, is being mailed to all voters this week. It is urged that the two sites are centrally located and are considered the most suitable of any available in the Village for the purposes for which they would be purchased. It is also pointed out that the Kenilworth Realty association is the owner of a consider- able portion of each tract, worth over $22,000, which they have agreed to donate, Le . . 522 Center St. 1869--1870 bo 1871--1872 &@ SPECIALS FOR SATURDAY, JUNE 2nd Broilers, fresh dressed, 1b. ...... 55¢ Best Rib Roast Beef, all cuts ....38c Miller & Hart's Bacon, sliced, 31bs. .................. $1 Best Beef Pot Roast, 1b. ........ 22¢ Boneless Beef Roast, Ib. ...... ve 29C Boneless Veal Roast, Ib. ......... 29¢ Shoulder Spring Lamb, 1b. ....... 35¢ Pork Loin Roast, 1b. ............ 25¢ Frankfurters, 1b. ................ 25¢ Ducks, fresh dressed, Ib. ........ 35¢ Hens, fresh dressed, 1b. .......... 35¢ Loin Lamb Chops ............... 59¢ Specials, Monday, June 4 American Family Soap, 10 bars ........ 59c box of 80 bars .................... $4.65 American Family Flakes, med. pkg. ...22¢c Jap Rose Soap, 3 bars ................. 29c Chipso, large package .................. 20c Large Ivory Flakes, pkg. .............. 22¢ P.& G.
